Iconic East Dallas and the Lake and Garden District serve as the inspiration for Chorus. With The Village Dallas at its center, this sculpture aims to capture the allure of this unique community through natural forms, vibrant colors and graphic movement. 

I used the flora of the arboretum and the water features near White Rock Lake to generate the form while looking to the rich history of the area as a singles mecca to capture the spirit of the place. 

Sexy, youthful and energetic is what I envisioned The Village Dallas of the 60’s and 70’s to be. Bold and daring, Chorus reflects the evolution of The Village Dallas into a luxurious and sophisticated playground, while staying true to its core values.
